The card
Quad Rock 50 Mile starts and finishes at Lory State Park near Fort Collins, Colorado, and loops through Horsetooth Mountain Park on a course that is 85 percent singletrack and 15 percent dirt road. The route climbs about 11,000 feet between 5,444 and 7,087 feet of elevation. Gnar Runners caps the 50 mile at 200 entries. The field sells out most years, with a wait list that turns over 75 to 80 spots across both distances. Eleven aid stations mark the route, with cutoffs at Soldier Canyon, Arthur's Trailhead, and Horsetooth Trailhead, and a 14 hour overall time limit. The race returns in May 2027; the RD had not posted an exact date.
